Think of a Donor-Advised Fund as a charitable giving account. You contribute to your fund, receive an immediate tax deduction, and recommend grants to nonprofit organizations like WUCF whenever you're ready.

When you recommend a grant to WUCF, you're helping ensure that trusted public media remains available to everyone in Central Florida.

Because WUCF is licensed to the University of Central Florida, charitable contributions are received and administered through the UCF Foundation, Inc., our 501(c)(3) nonprofit partner.

When you make a gift to the WUCF, we will officially acknowledge your generosity by letter and email. 

When recommending a grant through your Donor-Advised Fund, please ask your fund administrator to include your name and mailing address with the distribution. Occasionally we receive anonymous grants, making it difficult to thank you personally and ensure your gift is credited to your WUCF donor record.

IRS regulations prohibit donors from receiving goods or services in exchange for gifts made through a Donor-Advised Fund. As a result, DAF gifts are not eligible for thank-you gifts or other donor benefits tied to a contribution.

We will, however, gladly acknowledge your generosity through an acknowledgement letter with our sincere gratitude.
