WUCF's Annual Be My Neighbor Day Celebration
Thank you to all of our friends who helped us celebrate kindness throughout the month of February. We had a great time sharing our Daniel Tiger TV special GRR-IFIC Neighbors, exploring our kindness kit activities, and participating in virtual events.
Please note, WUCF did not host an in-person event in 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
You can keep celebrating kindness all year long - download the virtual Kindness Kit and watch GRR-IFIC Neighbors below. Remember to share your photos using #BeMyNeighborDay so that we can include them in our image gallery.
Be My Neighbor Day Kindness Kits:
Be My Neighbor Day is supported by:
Even though kindness month is over, you can still celebrate kindness and what it means to be a caring neighbor by downloading our kindness kit! Each kit includes seven at-home activities including Mom Tiger’s Banana Bread, a Firefighter Sticker Scene, Thank You Cards, Music Dance Party Mini Drum, Taking Care of Me Yoga, Story Time Theatre and Grow a Butterfly Garden.
Don't forget to share photos of your activities using #BeMyNeighborDay so that we can include them in our image gallery. We also want to see how you share kindness and empathy -- show us a photo or video of the thank you cards that you made for that special person in your life.
We hope you enjoyed our GRR-IFIC Neighbors TV special that allowed viewers to celebrate what it means to be a caring neighbor with music from the Orisirisi drummers, storytime, yoga with Missie, and at-home activities.
