Help Us Collect 6,000 Books for Central Florida Kids

WUCF and VyStar Credit Union are once again teaming up for the annual Preschool Book Drive, with a goal of collecting 6,000 books for children across our nine-county community.

Saturday, Oct. 3 | WUCF TV & FM | Free

Kick off the Preschool Book Drive with a day of books, stories and fun! Bring the whole family to meet Clifford the Big Red Dog, enjoy storytimes, take part in hands-on literacy activities, and visit WUCF’s Studio A for a special PBS KIDS Acoustic Rooster engagement.

As a special thank-you, the first 50 guests who donate books will receive a voucher for a FREE scoop from Kelly’s Homemade Ice Cream! 🍨

The Book Bash is free and open to the public.

We ask that there be no religious or adult/violent material donated.  Picture books are recommended for children aged 3-5 years old. Below are a few suggested authors and book series that young children will enjoy.  

The Preschool Book Drive runs Nov. 1–30 at collection sites throughout Central Florida.

Drop off your books at WUCF studios, participating VyStar Credit Union branches and participating independent bookstores.
