WUCF 89.9 FM has been nominated in three different categories for the 2018 JazzWeek Awards.
The annual awards ceremony honors and celebrates jazz music across the county. WUCF is up for station of the year, which honors outstanding presentation, community service and involvement and professionalism.
WUCF FM’s director Kayonne Riley has been nominated in two categories; presenter of the year and programmer of the year.
“We know WUCF FM is an important part of the soundtrack in the lives of many Central Floridians,” said Dr. Phil Hoffman, WUCF Executive Director. “It’s an honor to be recognized nationally for this work.”
Awards will be give out on August 9 in San Jose at the Annual JazzWeek Summit.
