Central Florida Roadtrip Season 3
Think you know the history behind some of Orlando’s oldest neighborhoods? Think again. Premiering September 27 on WUCF TV, Central Florida Roadtrip takes viewers on a journey through some of the unique history, stories and people that have made Central Florida one of the fastest growing communities.

Each week, a different city or area in Central Florida will be in the spotlight. The list includes:
  • Oviedo – Sept. 27
  • DeLand – Oct. 4
  • University of Central Florida – Oct. 11
  • Kennedy Space Center – Oct. 18
  • Haunted Roadtrip – Oct. 25
  • Military History – Nov. 1

This season Central Florida Roadtrip heads to Oviedo and explores the odd connection to the Abraham Lincoln; jump from the planes over the city of DeLand; and journeys through the nature and technology that call Kennedy Space Center home.

Hosted by WUCF Executive Director Dr. Phil Hoffman and produced by veteran television journalist Buddy Pittman, the program explores the communities and history across the nine-county Central Florida area.

“Central Florida Roadtrip allows WUCF to tell the stories of the communities we all know and love, but we always learn something new,” said Hoffman. “We’ve had a tremendous outpouring of support for this program and look forward to uncovering more history and stories from our community.”

Central Florida Roadtrip airs Thursdays, beginning September 27 at 8 p.m. on WUCF TV.
