WUCF is excited to present a national virtual event honoring chef/culinary personality, Jacques Pépin. Jacques will be sitting down with Francis Lam, host of The Splendid Table, for a wide ranging discussion including:

 

🥘 Reflections on his career

📺 His decades-long connection to public media

💛 The important work he does with his foundation

🍳 His enduring role as a culinary icon 

 

There will also be time during the event where you can ask Jacques your own questions. 

 

Our virtual event occurs a few weeks in advance of Jacques’s 90th birthday, which takes place December 18. Join us to celebrate all things Jacques!

Ticket Information 

Your $125 ticket for A Conversation with Jacques Pépin  includes:

  • 90 minute live conversation with Jacques Pépin
  • A hard cover copy of Jacques’s newest bookThe Art of Jacques Pépin
  • Access to the Zoom webinar on November 7.


 Share the experience! You can add an additional kit (for an additional cost) and ship it to a separate address! Just purchase an additional kit and enter the shipping address for that person.

Unavailable to attend on November 7? This event will be recorded and sent to all ticket holders a week following the event for you to experience the event on your own time.

Shipping Details

  • Your hard cover copy of The Art of Jacques Pépinwill be shipped and arrive by November 5.
  • Make sure that your email and shipping address is submitted correctly with no typos. Failure to type your address correctly will result in a shipping delay or even the possibility that your ticket will not be fulfilled.

How It Works

This virtual event will take place via Zoom Webinar on Friday, November 7 at 1:30 p.m. Zoom is free to the public but requires a computer download. You can download Zoom here.

The Zoom link for the event will be in your order confirmation and sent to you one week prior to the event. Your book will arrive the week of the event. The book is not required reading to participate in the live conversation with Jacques Pépin.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much of the event is cooking demonstrations?


None. The event is solely a conversation with Jacques Pépin. Jacques will not be cooking during this virtual event. There will be a brief welcome/Zoom how-to at the start of the event but much of the time, guests will enjoy a wide-ranging conversation with Jacques Pépin, including a handful of live audience questions posed during the second half of the virtual event.

Is there a tax benefit for this event?


Yes. The MSRP/FMV for The Art of Jacques Pépin book is $35.

Can I ship to multiple addresses?


Yes, you can choose to ship to a different address when registering for the event. 

Will I receive tracking information for my book?


Tracking information will be provided to participants of the event via email once shipping begins. Books will ship beginning the week of September 15, 2025. September 30, 2025 is the last date to submit your book order to guarantee delivery before the November 7 virtual event. If you do not receive an email with your tracking information, please reach out to WUCF Member Services at wucfmemberservices@wucf.org.

What happens if I want to add a kit, change the shipping address or cancel a kit? 


Please contact WUCF Member Services at wucfmemberservices@wucf.org if you would like to cancel or change the shipping address for your book. Final orders and changes for your Jacques Pepin book should be requested by September 30 to receive the book before the virtual event on November 7. There is no “rush” or overnight shipping option for this event. We cannot cancel your donation for the event after October 1.

How quickly will I receive my order?


All virtual event attendees who register for the event prior to September 30 will receive their books by November 5, 2025. Books purchased after September 30, 2025 are NOT guaranteed to be delivered by November 7, 2025.

Do I need to be home to receive my book?


No, books will be left at the address provided and do not require a signature for delivery.

What do I do if my book did not arrive before November 7, 2025 for the live Jacques Pépin event?


Jacques Pépin’s book is not required to read before the event itself. The live Zoom Webinar event on November 7, 2025 WILL be recorded and a video recording of this event will be sent to ALL attendees a week following the event, so guests still have the chance to enjoy the event if they miss the live Zoom Webinar event.

Can I ship kits to Canada and other international locations?


Unfortunately, we cannot ship to outside of the United States for this event.

Will the book be autographed?


Unfortunately, it will not.

How can I submit a question(s) to Jacques Pépin?


Since this is a live event, you will be able to ask your questions to Jacques Pépin during the event with the Q&A Zoom feature. Attendees will be able to “upvote” the questions that they like. The most popular/upvoted questions will be prioritized.  Unfortunately, we cannot promise all questions will be answered.


Don’t delay! Tickets are limited and registration will only be open until September 30 to allow for timely shipment of the book.
