ORLANDO, June 24, 2025 – The new PBS documentary Caregiving will air Tuesday, June 24 at 9 p.m. on WUCF, sharing powerful personal stories that highlight the emotional challenges and everyday triumphs of caregivers across America.
Caregiving takes you inside the lives of those fighting for caregivers and explores the urgent need to fix America’s caregiving system at a time when real change is possible.
Executive produced by Bradley Cooper, Caregiving tells the heartfelt personal stories of six dedicated caregivers and their journey as healthcare providers to their loved ones.
"The caregiving experience I had with my father inspired this documentary. I came face to face with the overwhelming realities of taking care of a loved one," said Cooper. "It is my hope that Caregiving will provide affirmation and support for those who do this profoundly meaningful and increasingly vital work."
Award-winning actress Uzo Aduba narrates the documentary, bringing her own experience as a full-time caregiver for her mother.
“There are only four kinds of people in the world: those who have been caregivers, those who currently are caregivers, those who will be caregivers, and those who will need caregiving,” a quote from Rosalynn Carter, founder of the Rosalynn Carter Institute for Caregivers, included in the documentary.
