WUCF FM Asks Listeners to Help Keep the Music Playing During Fall Fund Drive

WUCF FM 89.9 Jazz & More is asking its listeners to keep the music playing as it kicks off its week-long fall fund drive. Known as Central Florida’s jazz soundtrack, 89.9 Jazz & More relies on the generous support of its listeners as private funding makes up more than 35 percent of its annual revenue.

“Our mission at WUCF FM 89.9 Jazz & More is to play great jazz for the community to enjoy, and also allow our listeners a relaxing break from the hectic pace of the day,” said Dr. Phil Hoffman, WUCF Executive Director. “However, we can’t keep the music playing without the continued support of the community and our listeners.

WUCF FM 89.9 Jazz & More’s week-long fall fundraiser continues through Saturday, October 17. WUCF is Central Florida’s community Jazz station, and fundraising campaigns such as this one directly impacts its fiscal year membership revenue goal with private funding making up more than 45 percent of the annual revenue.
