WUCF TV, Central Florida PBS, is excited to bring a classic holiday special to viewers at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, December 13, 2020. A Charlie Brown Christmas will air ad-free thanks to a partnership between Apple TV+ and PBS.
The 1965 special follows Charlie Brown as he becomes the director of the gang's holiday play. Feeling down about the commercialism of Christmas, can he overcome his friends’ preference for dancing over acting, find the “perfect” tree, and discover the true meaning of Christmas?
“We know A Charlie Brown Christmas is a holiday staple in many households,” said Dr. Phil Hoffman, WUCF executive director. “As Central Florida’s storytellers, WUCF is happy to be able to air this beloved program for our viewers during such a difficult year.”
