How to Watch "The American Revolution" by Ken Burns

WUCF is proud to present The American Revolution, a six-part, 12-hour series by Ken Burns, Sarah Botstein and David Schmidt. The documentary traces how thirteen colonies fought for independence and created a new nation that transformed the world. Through powerful stories from people on all sides of the conflict (soldiers, leaders, civilians, Indigenous communities, and more) the film examines both the ideals and complexities of America’s founding.

When to Watch on WUCF TV

Conquer by a Drawn Game (part 4/6) — Wed 11/19 at 8:00 and 10:00 p.m.

The Soul of all America (part 5/6) — Thu 11/20 at 8:00 and 10:00 p.m.

The Most Sacred Thing (part 6/6) — Fri 11/21 at 8:00 and 10:15 p.m.

How to Stream Online

In a first for a Ken Burns series, all six episodes are nowavailable to stream on demand for four weeks. Go to pbs.org or stream using the free PBS Ap — available on RokuGoogle ChromecastAmazon Fire TVApple TV (fourth generation and higher), Samsung Smart TVAndroid TV, and iOS and Android devices. (After four weeks, on-demand streaming will require a WUCF Passport membership, available with any donation of at least $60 or $5/month.)
