WUCF TV, Central Florida PBS, is excited to announce that Global Perspectives is returning to WUCF on January 5, 2020 at 9:30 a.m. Global Perspectives, a weekly interview show, brings together authors, journalists, diplomats, and activists to share their view of the world to Central Florida.

The new incarnation of the show features two hosts, David Dumke, an experienced Middle East and foreign policy specialist, and journalist and broadcast journalism instructor Katie Coronado, who took over following the passing of original host John Bersia in March 2019. From international trade to immigration reform, Global Perspectives will dive weekly into topics of worldwide importance and local impact.

“We are glad to have the award-winning Global Perspectives coming back to WUCF,” said Dr. Phil Hoffman, WUCF Executive Director. “As Central Florida’s Storytellers, bringing global issues home to discuss their impact on our local community is part of our mission.”

Best-selling author John Meacham, Washington Post columnist David Ignatius, Ambassador Anthony Wayne, Dr. Peggy McIntosh, and Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-IL) are among the guests featured during the new season.

Global Perspectives will air Sundays at 9:30 a.m. following WUCF’s weekly news program NewsNight.
